Turnover and staff expansion
ams.Solution increases order intake
In 2018, ams.solution's turnover rose to 24.5 million and the number of employees increased by 8%. This increase in personnel is partly due to the new development site at the University of Bremen.
The ams.group's sales figures increased by four percent to 24.5 million euros compared to the previous year. The reason for the positive result was the change from a hierarchical line organization to a lean, versatile team structure that relies on the principles of agile self-organization. For the current year, the group of companies expects an increase in turnover of 17%. "For the first time, these target figures are also based on the expectations of our employees," explains Simone Schiffgens, CFO and HR Director. In order to expand the data basis for business planning, they asked the various teams to assess the development of orders from their perspective. This data was then compared with the management's revenue, cost and investment planning.
In January 2019, Willibald Müller resigned from the Management Board of ams.Solution AG in accordance with his contract. He was most recently responsible for products and strategic development on the Management Board. At the end of 2018, the ams.group employed a total of 208 people, an increase of eight percent. In addition, the staff turnover rate fell from 9.0 percent in the previous year to 4.9 percent, although further staff increases are planned for the new financial year. The new development site that the Group opened in the Bremen University Technology Park in June 2018 is a major source of momentum. They are developing sustainable strategies for the future to ensure a more sustainable digital improvement process that will enable Ams customers to permanently increase their competitiveness. The ams.group companies offer the necessary consulting services and software systems from a single source.
