Worm gearbox
Direction does not matter
Compact and powerful: The new worm gearboxes from Norelem are available in one size with a center distance of 20 millimeters and seven different ratios from 13:1 to 65:1.
Customers can choose from seven different sizes of bevel gearbox with leg lengths from 32 to 60 millimetres. The angular gearboxes are maintenance-free thanks to a specially encapsulated aluminum housing; it prevents grease leakage and dust exposure. Both gearbox types can rotate in any direction. The worm gearboxes can be used universally. The left-hand worm wheel is made of special brass, while the worm itself is made of case-hardened steel. This combination of materials ensures smooth power transmission and high efficiency.
The maximum axial and radial loads are between 200 and 500 newtons. Output torques of up to 15 Newton meters can be achieved; the drive speed can be up to 1,000 revolutions per minute. The bevel gearboxes with a ratio of 1:1 cover a wide range of applications with torques of up to ten Newton meters. They are equipped with surface-hardened steel bevel gears and ball-bearing shafts. The bevel gearboxes can be mounted in all installation situations using a simple screw fastening. pb
