Exploiting performance potential
Kollmorgen has developed a single-source solution with the 2G motion system.
The system was developed to exploit the performance potential of the AKD2G servo amplifier and the AKM2G servo motor. All elements of the motor and servo amplifier are matched to each other. The system is suitable for use in industrial printing, laser cutting, packaging, robotics, testing and measuring technology, tool and winding machines and food processing.
The system is compact and can be integrated into existing machine designs. The AKD2G offers Safe Motion options, expandable inputs/outputs and two-axis models with the same drive size. In addition to the Kollmorgen Servo on a Chip and the SafeMotion Monitor, the system also offers the WorkBench user interface. It is also available in a version with extended I/O. It offers various connector options as well as a holding brake option.
