Laser processing with software module
Lantek, provider of software solutions for the sheet metal processing and manufacturing industry, has announced the launch of a new module for its Lantek Expert Cut software.
The Edge Line Bevel module has been specially developed to streamline the CNC programming of modern Trumpf cutting machines and enable a more efficient laser machining process with the automatic creation of bevels during laser cutting.
Edge Line Bevel facilitates the programming of this laser processing technology, which enables specific bevel processing techniques without having to tilt the laser head. Edge Line Bevel technology also has an impact on the preparation of components for welding. It allows the automatic creation of chamfers and bevels of different sizes up to 45°.
