Servo controller

For small dimensions

Groschopp presents its new RBD-S+ servo controller. It has been specially developed for applications where a conventional PLC would be oversized. With an output of 800 VA, the successor to the previous RBD-S servo controller is almost twice as powerful as its predecessor.

It is said to be intuitive to operate and ready for use in just a few simple steps. Commissioning can be carried out either via the controller itself or via Ethernet or its USB connection. The RBD-S+ can be used as a torque, speed or position controller and can be operated with or without a higher-level PLC. The new controller has an integrated positioning control with functionalities for jerk-free, time-optimized positioning.

Travel programs can be stored in the controller and called up one after the other for the required positioning tasks. The RBD-S+ can be equipped with a Bluetooth interface and then operated via a smartphone or tablet using an app. Service technicians can thus obtain an overview of the current machine status. This facilitates the maintenance and diagnosis of systems in operation and downtimes can be shortened or avoided altogether. as
