For applications with limited installation space, Nabtesco offers eccentric gearboxes with hollow shafts for routing cables and hoses. Thanks to a generously dimensioned hollow shaft, the compact hollow shaft gearboxes allow cables and hoses to be fed through the center of the cycloidal gearbox.
Due to its design, the hollow shaft rotates with the output speed. This allows the position of the drive shaft to be determined via an encoder on the hollow shaft. The two-stage cycloidal design makes the gearbox insensitive to shock loads and allows high torques. A hysteresis loss of less than one angular minute and low vibrations ensure precise operation. am
