Intelligent drives for smart production
In addition to live demonstrations, visitors to Tox Pressotechnik 's Motek stand will gain an insight into eClinching in practice. The solutions for networked production include the new ElectricDrive Core servo press system, a combination of drive, controller and software. The plug-and-play-capable system is integrated more quickly thanks to the fieldbus, collects data and therefore meets the requirements for predictive maintenance. Its lean control architecture also saves costs.
At the heart of the system is the Tox-PowerModule Core. It is a servo inverter and central intelligence of the drive control in one and has a fieldbus interface via which it communicates with the higher-level control system. The system is operated by the user via the new Tox HMI 3.1 software, which combines parameterization, operation, process monitoring, diagnostics and evaluation as well as quality data management.
