ServomotorsCompletely detached: hovering robot
On the ISS, the hovering robot CIMON assists the astronauts with their experiments. Like in a science fiction movie, it floats freely in the station. To reach and maintain its desired position, it uses propellers driven by Faulhaber servomotors.
