Fulfill protection classes IP 66 to 69
With Fiplock One, Fränkische Industrial Pipes, or FIP for short, has developed pre-assembled cable glands that meet IP protection classes 66 to 69. Two new product groups have now been added to the range: the AZPA strain relief fitting and the AFPA female threaded fitting.
The straight female thread fitting Fiplock One AFPA is made of modified polyamide (PA) 6 and covers the temperature range from -50 to +120 °C. Depending on the version, the fittings are available in nominal sizes 7 to 48 and in various connection threads, for example with metric female thread, PG metal female thread made of nickel-plated brass or UNEF/UNS/UN female thread. The Fiplock One AZPA provides additional strain relief with its integrated skintop cable gland. Tensile forces are no longer transferred to the contacts, which means that cables and wires are secured in the cable gland to prevent them from tearing.
