Yaskawa at the Automatica
Smart automation for beginners too
Yaskawa promises "Robot technology for smart automation" at Automatica. The manufacturer is focusing on solutions that make it easy for smaller companies to get started with automation.
With convenient programming environments such as the Smart Pendant, technologies such as manual guidance or by adapting simple programming tools - such as the programming pen from the start-up Wandelbots - Yaskawa shows how easy it can be to set up and operate robots. The new HC DTP plug-and-play cobot series enables cobot installations to be set up quickly. With a payload of 20 kg, its long arm and IP67 protection class, the HC20, for example, works in applications without protective fencing. The industrial robots from the Motoman portfolio will also be on show.
