SIL 3 safety relay
Emerson has added four safety relays from Weidmüller to its DeltaVTM Alliance product range.
These are the SCS 24VDC P1SIL3DS M, SCS 24VDC P1SIL3DS, SCS 24VDC P2SIL3DSES and SCS 24VDC P1SIL3DS I relays. Safety relays are used for the safety-related shutdown of systems in the process industry. With the product certification program, Emerson supports its customers in the implementation of the various products. The safety relays are designed for use with DeltaVTM controllers. They meet the requirements of EN 61508 up to SIL 3 and have a UL listing.
