Digitization in the precast concrete plant
Unitechnik is presenting the latest version of its production control computer at bauma. UniCAM.23 clearly stands out from its predecessor UniCAM.10 thanks to its modernized appearance and new software structure.
In addition to improving paperless production and cycle time homogenization, UniCAM.23 offers several new functions. In line with the motto "Added value from data", Unitechnik supports companies from the precast concrete industry in optimizing their processes with UniCAM.23. Intelligent, partly AI-based algorithms evaluate existing information. The visualization on the dashboard can be used to answer various questions and thus increase the availability and performance of the plant. Failures can be prevented at an early stage through the systematic evaluation of fault messages - the keyword here is predictive maintenance. The time-based display of system performance and its comparison with other parameters (KPIs) help the plant manager to identify organizational weaknesses or draw conclusions regarding an optimal order mix.
In addition to a functioning process, control and documentation are important elements of quality management. Using the "Element Check Pro" function, the employee is shown an exact, true-to-scale photo of the pallet and can overlay it with the CAD data. Deviations in the position and completeness of the parts can thus be easily identified and corrected. Desired deviations can be noted and archived via comments. The comment function works in a similar way after the final physical inspection. Comments on the graphic image of the element provide information in the event of complaints.
Warehouse management made easy
The new "Easy Storage" function makes it easy to manage individual external storage topologies. Bookings can be made both online and in offline mode using the touchscreen forklift terminal.
With UniCAM.23, Unitechnik Systems is launching software that is more intuitive to use and more flexible. The software structure meets the highest IT security requirements and offers the latest platform technology. Among other things, the new structure enables individual retrofit scenarios and makes it easier to update the system.
