Control without wiring
From tension control in coil winding machines and tension control in printing, film and cardboard processing machines to pressure filling in leak testers: electropneumatic regulators are the first choice if the air pressure is to be controlled continuously depending on electrical signals.
Instead of setting up several controllers individually, SMC has developed the IITV23 series: Up to four electropneumatic controllers can be accommodated together with a fieldbus module on a multiple connection board - without external wiring.
Users benefit from the extra space, simple control and high performance figures. The set-up and maintenance costs remain low. (Remote) control via a single fieldbus module with the Profinet protocol simplifies set-up and monitoring. In addition, other external components can be controlled by using up to eight optional input/output/analog stations.
