Regional automation trade fair will not take place in 2020
The All About Automation trade fair in Friedrichshafen will not take place in 2020. This was announced by the organizer Untitled Exhibitions. The next date is in March 2021.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the associated ban on major events in Baden-Württemberg until August 31, 2020, All About Automation in Friedrichshafen cannot take place this year. The trade fair was initially postponed from March 9 and 10 to July 1 and 2, 2020, and has now been finally canceled for 2020.
"Unfortunately, we cannot offer the industry an All About Automation in Friedrichshafen this year. It would have been nice for all of us if the situation had allowed for a trade fair at the beginning of July. Unfortunately, this is now not the case. A further postponement of the trade fair into the fall or winter is not feasible due to the density of trade fairs both within the automation industry and at the Friedrichshafen trade fair venue. The next all about automation at Lake Constance will therefore take place on 9 and 10 March 2021," says Tanja Waglöhner, Managing Director of the organizer Uuntitled Exhibitions.
The All About Automation trade fairs in Essen and Chemnitz in September 2020 are still being planned. For 2021, five regional trade fairs for industrial automation are on the trade fair calendar for the first time: in Hamburg in January, in Friedrichshafen in March, at the new location in Heilbronn in May, in Essen in June and in Chemnitz in September.
