Assembly lines optimized for automotive displays
Schnaithmann Maschinenbau has planned and implemented three assembly lines for the automated production of automotive displays. Together with Schnaithmann's customer, a German automotive supplier, various system concepts were simulated, validated and compared with each other.

In the flow through the assembly line
Schnaithmann has developed a transfer system for a new oven line for V-Zug, a Swiss manufacturer of household appliances. It ensures the smooth transportation of different appliance types through the individual assembly and testing stations and adapts to different production requirements.

Electric lift transverse unit
Schnaithmann has developed a purely electrically operated lift transverse unit (eHQE) as the first step on the way to a fully electric transfer system. In the electric version, two EC geared motors are used for the chain drive and lift.

Electric lift transverse unit for transfer systems
Schnaithmann Maschinenbau has developed a purely electrically powered lift transverse unit (eHQE). For the Remshalden-based automation specialist, the eHQE is the first step on the way to a fully electric transfer system.

Schnaithmann expands its management team
Schnaithmann has had a new management team since July 1, 2019. Karl Schnaithmann, Managing Partner and company founder, has appointed Thilo Hottmann and Thomas Schill to the Management Board.

Virtual reality (www.industrial-production.de)
Planning on the holodeck
Schnaithmann uses virtual reality when planning an assembly or transfer system. As early as the design phase, the customer can experience their future system on a holodeck using special software and examine it virtually for ergonomic aspects or ease of maintenance.

Allow me, your workplace
Schnaithmann uses planning software from Rüdenauer 3D Technology to design assembly systems. Virtual workplace and system planning is possible on the basis of CAD data, which supports the design process and involves the customer in the development process.

Generation change heralded (www.industrial-production.de)
New dual leadership at Schnaithmann
Schnaithmann has had dual leadership since January 2018. Alongside company founder Karl Schnaithmann, Ralf Steinmann is now Managing Director of the system supplier for automation technology. The appointment of the new Co-Managing Director is intended to ensure a generational change.
