Online configurator for underframe clamps

The mechanical engineering specialist Tünkers has added a practical tool to the functionality of its online platform.

Designers can now configure and order individual clamps with just a few clicks. It starts with the versatile K 60 UZ substructure clamp, a clamp with a fixed centring mandrel and integrated clamping hook for centring and clamping in workpiece openings.

Whereas such a process used to require time-consuming coordination, the user can now produce a result in seconds by entering their individual data. The relevant data such as centering mandrel variant, mandrel diameter, support height, sheet type and sheet thickness are requested. Immediately after entering the individual values, a 3D model is generated, which the designer can download and use for their planning and then order the desired product online.

The Tünkers e-shop has also been further expanded. In addition to the standard products for clamping, forming and gripping, repair and sealing kits for clamping systems have been added to the range to ensure fast delivery of these spare parts. The e-shop will be successively expanded to include further products and product areas.
