Torque tools
It clicks even more
The Wuppertal-based screwdriving tool manufacturer Wera has expanded its range of torque tools. Four new torque tools have been added to the Click-Torque series introduced last year.
With the new Click-Torque XP wrenches, the torque is preset to one of four values: 2.5, 5, 10, 15 or 20 Newton meters. This is particularly important for applications where the same torque is needed constantly and repeat accuracy is required. Unintentional adjustment is practically impossible, as the presetting can only be changed to a new torque value with a defined amount of effort. The four new torque wrenches for interchangeable tools are equipped with square drive sockets for right-hand and left-hand tightening. In addition, the adjustable click-torque wrench C 3 is now also available in a compact tool set. In addition to the torque wrench, the set consists of an extension, four sockets with wrench widths of 10, 13, 17 and 19 millimetres, four Torx bits and three Hex-Plus hexagon socket bits with holding function. The adjustable torque range of the wrench is between 40 and 200 Newton meters. As with all torque wrenches from the Click-Torque series, the C 3 also offers the characteristic double "click": the screw stop "click" is an audible and tactile release when the set torque is reached. as
