Locker with face recognition

Biometric data for verification has already proven its worth in areas such as smartphones and tablets as well as in access control. Hahn+Kolb relies on the same system for the security of cabinet systems.

Thanks to integrated FaceLock technology, the locker recognizes the user standing in front of it via a colour display and opens fully automatically - contact-free and in less than a second.

The areas of application for this are diverse: from changing rooms for storing keys, personal items and charging smartphones to the integrated USB port and production facilities for securely storing special tools and high-quality equipment. The locker doors are fitted with springs so that they spring open automatically. This means that hands remain free and items to be stowed away do not have to be put down. The compartments inside are also illuminated.

The security system is managed via an online platform where customers can set up to 1,000 entries on their own system. After that, nothing stands in the way of convenient opening without a key or entering key combinations. The locker system can also be expanded and digitally linked using any number of modules. as
