Threaded locking pin with axial bearing
Erwin Halder has developed threaded locking pins with axial bearings. They work in a very similar way to the tried and tested ball lock pins. The main difference is at the lower end of the bolt: instead of the balls, there are self-locking thread segments that are adapted to the respective thread sizes.
To unlock the segments, the user only has to press the orange aluminum push button at the head end of the bolts. The bolt is then simply inserted into the existing threaded hole. When the push button is released, the threaded segments engage in the thread of the component.
This functional principle makes the thread locking pins ideal for screw connections that need to be loosened and tightened frequently, such as when assembling components or replacing wearing parts. As with the standard version, a groove is provided on the ergonomic handle of the thread locking pins. The user can attach a retaining cable or a clip for a retaining cable there.
