Pliers wrench
Access without damaging the surface
The manufacturer Knipex has added precisely matched protective jaws to its 250 millimeter long pliers wrench, enabling safe and damage-free work even on extremely sensitive surfaces.
With the Knipex protective jaws, work can now also be carried out on particularly sensitive surfaces without any problems. The protective jaws, which are specially adapted to the 250 mm long pliers wrench, are simply pushed on by hand and fixed to the pliers wrench by means of an internal locking hook so that they do not slip during work. Thanks to their soft gripping surface, there is no damage when holding, gripping or pressing on designer fittings, for example. The protective jaws are available in a set of 3 and can be used for all 86 xx 250 models from 2018 of the pliers wrench from Knipex.
Launched at the end of last year, the 250 millimeter long pliers wrench weighs just 450 grams, making it 15 percent lighter than its predecessor while retaining its high stability. With 19 setting positions that can be selected and locked at the touch of a button, it has two more settings than its predecessor. Thanks to its 13 percent larger gripping capacity, the pliers wrench can also grip small and large nuts as well as screw heads with a wrench width of up to 52 millimeters or two inches without play. The model shows the selected setting on two scales: metric above the toothed setting grid on the front and imperial on the back of the pliers head. dsc
