The 43rd Motek, trade fair for production and assembly automation, together with the 18th Bondexpo, trade fair for bonding technology, is getting ready for the new edition from October 6 to 8, 2026 in Stuttgart. "Companies in the manufacturing industry are facing major challenges," says Rainer Bachert, long-standing project manager at trade fair organizer P. E. Schall. "Cost-effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability are essential prerequisites for companies to continue to survive in the market," continues Bachert. "It is therefore a question of further automation, which must be practical and cost-effective. For many companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, it is also about getting started with automation. We want to focus on this issue," says the project manager. The presentations at the trade fair should therefore be practical, practicable and user-oriented. "We want to strengthen communication at eye level between suppliers and users and promote interaction," promises Bachert. The trade fair team is working on a top-class supporting program that makes industrial production tangible and tangible and creates significant added value for new business contacts.

Efficient and economical solutions come to life

The focus of Motek/Bondexpo is traditionally on topics along the entire manufacturing value chain of modern industrial production. It is aimed at all those involved in the industry who need to offer and implement solutions for sustainable and efficient automation. The trade fair location of Stuttgart is ideal for exhibitors and visitors alike with its convenient transport connections. The trade fair organizer is creating new, more flexible participation options for 2026 with individual stand areas or complete Motek packages. The tried-and-tested start-up area is being prepared again, as are a lecture forum and other formats for an effective transfer of knowledge into industrial practice.

The target group of the trade event are manufacturing companies from all sectors. Anyone who wants to automate a process - for example in the fields of mechanical engineering, equipment and plant engineering, automotive engineering and vehicle construction, sheet metal processing, plastics processing, metalworking and processing, woodworking, electronics and electrical engineering, laboratory automation, healthcare and medical technology - will find the right components and solutions at Motek/Bondexpo. The industry's autumn highlight will cooperate closely with Vision, the trade fair for machine vision, for the first time in 2026. Both events will take place at the same time at the same location and are open to all visitors with a joint ticket.

From 2026, Motek/Bondexpo will switch to a biennial cycle and a streamlined trade fair duration of three days in future.
