Screw connection for Industry 4.0
Torque specialist Stahlwille and system provider Brütsch/Rüegger Tools have developed the IIoT platform Jellix, a solution for networking torque tools with mobile or stationary end devices.
The focus is on connecting the Manoskop 766 electromechanical torque wrench from Stahlwille to Jellix via a new app. This is an open and completely digital IIoT platform. The Stahlwille torque wrench has already documented the measured values of individual tightening processes. With the new solution, this data is automatically assigned directly to the screwdriving objects. All the data required for process-reliable documentation is read out automatically. The user can concentrate fully on the current work step. Incorrect screw connections can be quickly identified and corrected. At the same time, operation of the hardware and the mobile application is both simple and efficient, resulting in shorter training times for employees. as
