Compact angle screwdriver
Flexible battery tool for one-hand assembly
Desoutter is launching a genuine one-handed angle screwdriver for the assembly of critical screw connections. The new EABS combines compact dimensions with high performance, offering maximum ergonomics and productivity in the smallest of spaces. The cordless angle screwdriver is up to 36 percent shorter than comparable tools. Screwdriving data is recorded and documented in real time.
The extremely compact and powerful battery-operated offset screwdriver bears the type designation EABS. The tools have been designed for ergonomic operation with just one hand, offer great flexibility and can even reach screws that are difficult to access. With a length of only around 30 centimetres and a weight of just 1 kilogram, the transducer-supported EABS facilitates many assembly processes, allows screwdriving data to be documented and thus increases productivity.
Light, fast and powerful
A total of ten models with hexagonal or square drive cover torques between 1.5 and 24 Newton meters at speeds of up to 1500 revolutions per minute. Depending on the variant, the EABS is 20 to 36 percent shorter than conventional right-angle screwdrivers on the market. The tools can be operated with both 18-volt and 36-volt batteries. Users no longer have to choose between workplace ergonomics and productivity, as both variants have the same characteristics. This means that the EABS screwdrivers achieve full power even when using the lighter 18-volt battery. Thanks to the option of attaching the battery in two positions, users can always find the optimum balance of the tool for themselves and the application with the best possible accessibility to the screwdriving point. dsc
