Inspection timer

Mara Hofacker,

When is maintenance due?

Brady's inspection timer can save lives by clearly indicating when machines, equipment and tools need to be serviced. The LED indicators are clearly visible to operators and maintenance technicians, even from a distance. This prevents the use of worn or uninspected equipment.

The new inspection timer from Brady Corporation clearly indicates when the next scheduled maintenance is due. The timer is available in different versions that offer a countdown for 7 days, 30 days and 365 days. Each version has a dark green, light green, amber and red flashing LED indicator that shows the device status from "recently inspected" to "unsafe".

The inspection timer can be attached directly to most machines, devices and tools using adhesive tape, Velcro, magnets, screws or cable ties. When the predefined inspection interval has expired, the tag can be reset until the battery is exhausted. A battery status indicator always clearly shows how much battery capacity is left.

The timer's colored LED indicators are visible from a distance, drawing the attention of operators and other people in the vicinity. With machines, equipment and tools fitted with the eye-catching inspection device, it is unlikely that the maintenance intervals specified by laws, regulations or company guidelines will be exceeded. The Brady device effectively supports maintenance programs that can save lives.
