Ergonomic workplace
Everything within reach
Ergonomic workstation. The Avero kitting workstation is suitable for grouping and packing assembly or small parts sets, for preparing assembly sets and for separating large packs into small parts boxes.
According to Bott, the main benefit is that users can achieve maximum ergonomics in monotonous, repetitive tasks. This improves the duration of concentration at the workplace and motivates employees. The Kitting workstation can be quickly converted, customized and expanded with other components of the Avero workstation system.
Pre-prepared sets of small parts are usually used for assembly and shipping processes. This reduces the time and effort required for picking in the overall process. It also guarantees consistent quality, as the parts do not have to be picked again for each new order. The ergonomically optimized single workstation supports employees in their work. The gripping distances are short and the working height and lighting can be individually adjusted. The Elam Start assistance system from Armbruster Engineering provides him with targeted information on the work step.
The ergonomically cut-out worktop puts the employee in the middle of their work materials. The flexible swivel arms at the workstation can be pulled up so that the parts in the Bott boxes all around are easy to reach. The working height can be adjusted to the desired position without looking by means of an intuitive control panel: Folding the button up moves the table upwards, folding it down moves it downwards. Employees can even control the functions remotely via Bluetooth and an app on their smartphone.
Good lighting at the workplace promotes the ability to concentrate and reduces signs of fatigue. It must also be able to adapt to the habits and requirements of each individual employee. The LED linear luminaire at the Avero workstation can be continuously adjusted in terms of both brightness and color temperature. The microprismatic technology ensures balanced light diffusion and homogeneous light without glare or annoying flickering.
Simple work instructions through IT systems
The Elam Start assistance system guides the employee through the work process. The contents of the assembly kits are clearly displayed. Scanners and label printers are connected via the system. Additional interfaces, for example to ERP systems, can be easily implemented. Once the assembly kits have been checked, a label is automatically printed with all the order data. New orders are started by scanning barcodes. The employee has the option of using short or detailed instructions for picking, depending on their individual level of knowledge. as
