Producing and manufacturing components in a clean or particle-free environment is important for many industries. The main application of the Spetec cleanroom workbench or mini-environment is in the optical, electronic and mechanical industries.
The cleanroom workbench can be manufactured individually according to customer requirements and the required cleanroom class. According to the manufacturer Spetec, this means that it is adapted to the respective requirements in terms of size, equipment and design. As a rule, the unit is made from cleanroom-compatible aluminum profiles. The side walls are either made of glass, acrylic glass or a strip curtain encloses the box. A laminar flow module is then mounted on the top, creating a class 5 cleanroom inside the box. This corresponds to around 100 particles with a size of 0.5 micrometers. Compared to an approximate particle count of around one million per cubic foot in an ordinary office or laboratory, this means an improvement in air quality by a factor of 10,000. as
