Pliers wrench with protective jaws
The pliers wrench from Gedore combines the functions of a wrench and pliers in a single tool.
The "SB 183 10 JC S-002" set includes the pliers wrench as well as additional protective jaws, which provide extra protection for sensitive surfaces during machining. Thanks to the sliding mechanism and parallel-guided jaws, the pliers wrench can be conveniently and practically infinitely adjusted to different wrench widths. The effortless adjustment of the width across flats makes the setting particularly efficient and time-saving. This is made possible by the quick adjustment mechanism, where the jaws are easy to move - the release button is only pressed once and then remains in this free position. The mechanism only locks when the pliers wrench is applied, preventing unintentional adjustment during work.
Due to these functions, the tool replaces two complete wrench sets - metric and imperial with a span of 0 to 52 millimetres or 0 to 2 inches. The pliers wrench is made from special heat-treated steel, which can withstand even the highest loads, and is manufactured in accordance with DIN ISO 5743. It has an extremely high transmission ratio of the pressing and clamping force exerted, with the jaws acting on the workpiece with more than ten times the manual force.
