Separate components from base plate
Kasto has developed the Kasto win amc high-performance automatic band saw to separate additively manufactured components made of materials that are easy to difficult to machine from their base plate.
The workpieces can be turned through 180° using a turning device. They are then separated from the plate upside down and fall into a designated collection container without being damaged. For this process, the base plate is placed on the device with a handling device and screwed on manually. Kasto offers an optional quick clamping system.
The automatic band saw is fully encased, so no harmful microparticles are released into the ambient air. The cutting area is 400 × 400 mm.
