Schulmeyer has more than 20 years of experience as a product manager for B2B software. His main task will be to work with the product team to further drive the development and strategic positioning of Merlic and to meet the increasing demand for easy-to-use image processing software.

Easy-to-use software for an easy introduction to machine vision

Merlic is particularly suitable for machine vision beginners who are looking for powerful standard software for creating complete image processing applications. With the integrated tool library, all important image processing tasks can be easily solved - whether measuring, checking for presence, code reading or surface inspections. The workflow can be easily set up using drag and drop. The individual process steps can be parameterized individually and moved as required. Even sophisticated deep learning applications can be easily implemented with Merlic. Ulf Schulmeyer has a clear idea of the direction in which the machine vision software should develop: "In addition to classic image processing technologies, we attach great importance to simple process integration. We already offer many preconfigured communication interfaces for seamless connection to the production line. We want to expand this further."
