Inspekto at the All About Automation
New autonomous image processing system
Inspekto, the specialist for autonomous image processing, is inviting manufacturers to test its AI-controlled image processing system Inspekto S70, which is now equipped with a new software system, at all about automation 2022 from April 5 to 6 in Friedrichshafen.
Visitors can bring their own parts to inspect them during the trade fair in a live demo in Hall B1 at Stand 510.
Inspekto S70 gives manufacturers full control of their quality assurance processes without the need to commission bespoke projects from external experts. The product is an edge device that is ready to use right out of the box and, thanks to a quick and user-friendly setup, eliminates the costly integration and training process of traditional vision systems.
The live demonstrations at all about automation will show the versatility of the system for both large production facilities and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). At the trade fair, Inspekto S70 will be presented in a new configuration - integrated into a cobot for maximum flexibility. Highest productivity is achieved as the system can inspect multiple parts at a fast pace and in a fully automated process.
The system is used in numerous plants worldwide. It was introduced in Germany by leading automotive manufacturers and has quickly spread throughout the electronics, plastics and metal industries thanks to its versatility and adaptability for a wide range of applications. The system is also ideal for testing complex parts and is therefore also used in the quality assurance of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Inspekto S70 uses a combination of three AI modules. Thanks to the artificial intelligence of these modules, the electro-optical system is independently adjusted so that it automatically focuses and captures the best possible image of the object to be inspected. This enables manufacturers to reliably inspect even challenging parts made of highly reflective materials such as metals and glossy plastics.
Inspekto invites manufacturers to bring their own components to stand B1-510 to have them inspected with Inspekto S70 and arrange a personal live demo for their specific application. The Inspekto team will be on hand to answer visitors' questions and demonstrate the benefits the system brings to production processes.
