Technologies for fully automated transportation
The automated guided vehicle systems (AGV) from Tünkers are integrated into the "Transport" module of the in-house 9-module automation system. This results in a wide range of modular solutions in which clamping technology, lifting tables, gripper systems, roller conveyors, rotary tables or accumulating conveyor systems can be used.
The main advantage is the interfaces for easy connection of the modules. All of the automation specialist's vehicles are characterized by modern technology and precision. The high flexibility of the systems makes it possible to implement individual processes according to customer requirements. The current delivery time of only around three months, together with a four-week integration and training phase, promises rapid implementation of AGV projects. The broad product range of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) from Tünkers offers a variety of transport solutions in automated production and logistics. Numerous individual adaptations can be made within five AGV types. The basic types are platform, forklift, tugger, cart and roller conveyor AGVs.
For orientation, the vehicles use free navigation, in which the contour data of the environment is recorded by means of laser scanners through simultaneous localization and mapping and the position of the vehicle is determined. Laser reflection navigation works in a similar way, using fixed reflection marks along the route to determine the position of the AGV using a triangulation process. Other types of navigation are also available. Through the use of artificial intelligence, the systems learn from the production facilities in the industrial environment and constantly optimize themselves. The use of IWLAN connections enables secure communication between systems and safety systems. 3D cameras detect objects in the room to prevent collisions. A QR code on the vehicle can be used to display current data, data sheets and maintenance documents via the Tünkers hardware cloud.
