On September 24, 2025 from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart, the event will present the latest developments and trends relating to these highly sought-after technologies.

For many in the industry, the event is certainly already on the calendar: the biennial technology forum is a permanent fixture when it comes to the latest state of the art, innovative applications, questions about cost-effectiveness and the opportunity for extensive networking around automated guided vehicles (AGV) and autonomous mobile robots (AMR). The event is aimed at users, suppliers, manufacturers and developers of automation solutions in the fields of material flow, logistics, production automation and service robotics.

The event will be headed by Tobias Rainer Schäfle, Head of the Automated Intralogistics Systems business segment at Fraunhofer IPA. He has put together a practical program that addresses the following topics relating to the booming mobile systems sector:

  • Fleet scaling
  • AI and automated learning
  • Safe AGVs and mobile robots in the context of the EU AI Act
  • Autonomy software stack for AGVs and AMRs
  • Order picking with humanoids or special kinematics?
  • Dynamic safety
  • Safety in company-owned outdoor environments
  • Mobile systems for air freight handling
