Fully automatic order picking
Eight major logistics and robotics companies have jointly developed a fully automated picking solution.
Epson, manufacturer of Scara robots, will present the new Scara GX-B series at Automatica, the latest generation of high-performance Scara robots based on the existing GX series.

The current situation shows: The healthcare system quickly reaches its limits when laboratory capacity is lacking or when existing test installations cannot be converted flexibly enough for test variants. In this situation, laboratory robots offer an alternative.
With PA-infosys, IEF-Werner has developed an intelligent unit for data monitoring and communication for machines and components. With this intelligence, a timing belt axis monitors its own condition and performance and can analyze its own wear, among other things.

MartinMechanic has developed an adaptive palletizing cell to prepare carbide indexable inserts for heat treatment in a sintering furnace.

Assembly automation. Martin Mechanic has developed the second generation of systems for the construction of damping systems for a customer in the automotive industry. The number of robots in the system was doubled from eleven to 22.

The automotive industry continues to invest in the production of diesel engines. Special machine manufacturer MartinMechanic has completed a system that assembles and welds shielding parts for diesel vehicle exhaust systems.

Two million hardened spur gears
Two million hardened steel spur gears leave the factory of an automotive supplier every year. Martinmechanic has developed an automation cell that matches the associated induction hardening system from Martinsystems to ensure that the material feed and fully automatic hardening of the parts work together smoothly.

From pre-assembly to palletizing: Martinmechanic uses nine robots for overmolding electronic components in five precisely coordinated work cells.
IEF-Werner has built a prototype for the EU research project Selsus in which an intelligent toothed belt axis permanently monitors its own condition and performance and analyzes wear. It also communicates with other components via a cloud connection and can therefore keep production running if there is a risk of failure.
