25 years of ACI with open house and evening event
Laser technology with live music
From June 6 to 7, 2024, ACI Laser held a two-day open house event for long-standing business partners, customers and companions from Germany and abroad at its headquarters in the U.N.O. industrial park near Nohra/Weimar to mark the company's 25th anniversary.
ACI Laser was founded in 1999 by Mirko Wunderlich. Today, ACI is a globally active company with 40 employees at its headquarters in Nohra and branches in Chemnitz and Lüdenscheid. ACI is one of the market leaders for compact laser systems for engraving, marking and trimming in material processing. June 2024 marked the 25th anniversary of ACI's founding. More than 5,000 laser systems have been successfully installed worldwide since 1999. The markets for ACI are diverse: from mechanical engineering, the automotive and supplier industry, medical technology, electrical engineering and electronics, the tool industry to the jewelry industry, ACI laser systems are used in a wide variety of sectors. The company has been able to prove its role in the market. This is reflected in the many well-known customers who rely on ACI's expertise, solutions and flexibility. "This makes us very proud, but is also an incentive and a responsibility," says Mirko Wunderlich, Managing Director and founder of ACI.
International guests get to know the Nohra site
The motto for the entire year is "25 years of ACI". The highlight of the anniversary celebrations was the open house event in Nohra with invited guests on June 6 and 7, 2024. Under the motto "It's not a trick, it's magic", ACI demonstrated its products and provided insights into various areas of the company such as research & development and production. Guests were able to experience modern laser technologies at various tour stations and talk directly to the ACI team. An exhibition of the company's history invited visitors to get to know the milestones from 25 years of company history.
The personal exchange with the guests from Germany and important trading partners from the USA, Mexico, Taiwan, Japan, Switzerland, Israel and the Czech Republic was well received by all participants. The event was rounded off by a lively evening event with live music, a barbecue buffet and the highlight of the evening, a drone show at the nearby "Land Alm" in Utzberg.
