Innovative, marketable and of great benefit: This is what characterizes the submissions for the competition. The participants compete in six categories for the INDUSTRIAL Production trophies for the top three winners.

handling award - Readers' prize

Readers have their say in the Readers' Choice Award. They vote for the best product in the competition in an online survey. This year, their choice fell on the HORST600 industrial robot system.

With the first market-ready wireless charging system for industrial electric vehicles, Wiferion took first place in the warehouse, order picking and intralogistics category.

Trapo's loading system, which replaces forklift trucks and automatically compensates for height differences on the ramp, took second place in the Warehouse, Order Picking and Intralogistics category.

The sensor-based, self-amplifying brake module for the fully automatic stopping of loads was awarded third place by the jury. The brake module from Losyco is used for the fully automatic stopping of loads on the rail track.

The jury of the handling award 2020 awarded first place in the electrical automation category to the world's first AGV and transport robot from French company ez-Wheel.

The nanoScan3 laser scanner from Sick was awarded second place in the electrical automation category by the jury. The scanner is used to safeguard and navigate automated vehicles and robots.

The MOVIKIT AntiSlosh software module from SEW-Eurodrive is used to reduce vibrations during the open transportation of liquids in the production chain. The jury awarded the module third place in the Electrical Automation category.
