Mini valves

Mara Hofacker,

Saving space starts with the supplied parts

SMC was represented at the FMB Zuliefermesse Maschinenbau with its compact technologies, for example the mini valves of the JSY series, the precise pneumatic compact slides and the modular valve terminals of the SY series.

The more compact a system is, the better it can work in confined spaces. Saving space starts with the valves. This is why SMC, manufacturer of pneumatic and electrical automation technology, has developed the JSY series valves: At 6.4 millimeters wide, the JSY1000 model is the narrowest ISO valve in the world, according to SMC, and is up to 50 percent lighter than ISO valves with a comparable flow capacity. This means that actuators and valve terminals can be positioned even closer together, which saves on complex tubing between the valve terminal and consumer. With protection class IP67, the JSY3000 and 5000 models can also withstand wet environments.
