"Tightness" due to material uniformity
The new pipe fitting from Schwer Fittings achieves its tightness through the identical material of the seal and flange connection. It consists of a threaded socket, an insert and a metal sealing ring.
The latter makes the connection easy to sterilize with superheated steam and resistant to aggressive media. It is temperature-stable from -270 to 300 °C and insensitive to environmental influences. According to the manufacturer, the fitting meets the highest purity standards and is made entirely from 1.4435 stainless steel. sw
