Locking system with rod drive for enclosures

With a solution made of high-performance plastic components, EMKA Beschlagteile now ensures efficient handling for IP protection in the enclosure. The new solution with rod drive consists of a central drive point that is actuated from the outside to open and close the enclosure. This point activates a connecting rod outside the sealing area.

The system from EMKA Beschlagteile is manufactured with components made of technical plastic. In order to ensure secure and stable rod guidance, polyamide locking holders have been installed, into which the locking points of the rod (pastilles) engage during the closing process. These pastilles are located at several points directly on the connecting rod. When a user operates the central drive point from the outside, pastilles on the rod move synchronously with the drive. Thanks to the individually combinable design of the locking system, a selection of door locks is available - from a short key plate to a new long key plate and a lever handle. The key plates can be fitted with any actuation, the lever handle with a round or profile half cylinder.
