While levelling wedges ensure that machines are set up quickly and safely, vibration dampers also guarantee long-term protection for people, buildings and machines. They prevent unacceptable vibrations or shocks from being transmitted to the surroundings.

Whether machine tools, laser or injection molding machines, different requirements need to be met when setting them up - from rigid to springy, fixed to free-standing or roughly to finely leveled. Norelem has various machine set-up elements in its range that meet these requirements. For example, leveling wedges for floor mounting with adhesive anchors are suitable for high horizontal loads. For mobile machinery, the company offers leveling wedges with insulating coating as well as free-standing types without floor mounting. The wedges and anchors are made of aluminum or steel. The insulating coating of the mobile leveling wedges consists of an elastic, pressure-resistant and compressible rubber compound. The surface is resistant to petrol, oil, grease and heat.

Particularly heavy machines can be leveled with the help of central double wedges. Two wedges move symmetrically and without play towards or away from the support center. This allows the height of the machine to be adjusted. The central support point always remains rigid and stable. The force acting on the lifting mechanism is halved. The wedges can also be moved with off-center loads.

The vibration dampers can be used for both vertical and horizontal vibrations. They are mounted on the floor and absorb permanent and dynamic loads. Thanks to their horizontal hardness and soft vertical deflection, they prevent the machine mass from swinging freely.
