Intec and Z 2019

Leipzig industrial trade fairs very popular

From February 5 to 8, 2019, Intec and Z will once again offer global companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises an attractive and efficient marketplace for good business. The signs are positive: the successful trade fair association is already registering a great deal of interest from the industry around a year before the start of the next edition. The good level of registrations means that stand space for Intec can already be allocated in April. Next year, the trade fair duo will invite visitors to the first important industry get-together for production technology in the metalworking and supplier industry in Europe.

With 1,382 exhibitors from Germany and abroad, Intec and Z maintained their strong positions among the leading industry trade fairs in Europe in March 2017. Another chapter is to be added to the success story of the trade fair alliance in the coming year.

Preparations for Intec and Z 2019 are already in full swing. "Over the past few weeks, we have received very good feedback from partners, exhibitors and new exhibitors. The response from the industry is great. We are very optimistic that our trade fair association will continue its positive development," says Project Director Kersten Bunke. Thanks to the good level of registrations, the starting signal for the placement of the stand areas for Intec will be given in April of this year, followed by the planning of Z in the summer.

Specialist program with top industry topics

In addition to the range of exhibitors at the double trade fair, the practice-oriented specialist program provides cross-industry information, supports the transfer of knowledge and innovation from research to industry and is therefore an ideal platform for networking.

The newly designed special show "Additive + Hybrid - new manufacturing technologies in use" is an example of this. With eye-catching exhibits, it shows how additive manufacturing processes dovetail with technological developments in lightweight construction. The expert forum integrated into the show will provide a concentrated insight into the current state of the art on all four days of the trade fair.

Digitalization, sensor technology, smart production and new mobility concepts and their impact on the manufacturing and supplier industry are other topics that will play an important role in the specialist programme at Intec and Z 2019. kp
