The Fujitsu livestream"Smart Manufacturing: Think beyond the factory" on Tuesday, April 13 from 11:30 a.m. will demonstrate how complete digital integration of all supply chains brings together the material flow with the digital development and production of new products. Jörn Nitschmann, Head of Manufacturing and Automotive at Fujitsu CE and livestream presenter, says: "Digitalization is currently the driving force in manufacturing. At Hannover Messe Digital Edition 2021, Fujitsu will be showing what manufacturers can do today to stay ahead of their competitors. In our livestream, we will highlight the importance of interaction between manufacturing areas and where synergies between them need to be used even more efficiently."

Fujitsu also offers inspiring content in the media library as part of the trade fair appearance, including:

  • Fujitsu Integrated Shopfloor addresses the most pressing challenges facing manufacturers today. Individual players must either integrate into OEMs' broader supply chains or focus on "batch size 1" manufacturing by offering digital configuration of products via dedicated online platforms. As part of the press highlight tour on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fujitsu will demonstrate possible solutions.
  • Fujitsu Smart Manufacturing with Colmina and SAP is the key to the decisive plus in resilience in production. This approach is about comprehensive value creation for all stakeholders supported by Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) in and outside of production. Fujitsu will show how customers benefit by deploying global solutions including Fujitsu Manufacturing Industry Solution Colmina and Fujitsu Manufacturing Solution for SAP.
  • Quantum computing-inspired optimization of manufacturing stands for efficient, end-to-end optimized production with Fujitsu QIOS (Quantum-Inspired Optimization Services), which in turn is based on digital annealing, a bridging technology to quantum computing that can already be used today.
  • Enterprise 5G - which is already very popular in the consumer market - also offers new opportunities and communication access in the manufacturing industry: What is the best way for companies to maximize value creation?
