Faster innovation with PLM from the cloud

At the Hannover Messe, T-Systems is presenting its comprehensive PLM Cloud, which has been running productively since the beginning of the year. The solution for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from the cloud combines a unique variety of PLM systems with an end-to-end process and support for users as well as the data security of a German data center.

With the PLM Cloud, companies can transform what is probably their most important process, the development of new products from initial design to test simulation, into the digital age and thus increase their speed of innovation. The PLM Cloud offers them either the option of using their own software licenses or the software of proven PLM specialists from the cloud (Software as a Service), which T-Systems has already integrated into the platform. This means that customers do not have to commit to one provider, but can use the solution that best suits their processes. T-Systems complements the service with the end-to-end process know-how of its experts, the flexible provision of computing power and also offers maximum protection for processing sensitive data in its state-of-the-art data centers.

T-Systems supports digitalization
The PLM Cloud consists of three modules:
1. the actual PLM system;
2. virtual 3D design for CAD and CAE;
3. flexible resources of high-performance computing for simulations.

The integration of these modules in the cloud means that they are always available to users in the latest version when they are needed and only have to be paid for when they are actually used. The system can also be quickly adapted to changing requirements. T-Systems experts can use their integration expertise and experience to support the "cloudification" of systems and processes.
