Checking the benefits of digital technologies
Accenture offers a business tool designed to help companies get the most out of digital technologies.
The tool is based on findings from the "Delievering Digital Dividends" study, which identifies value potential for companies when introducing new technologies.
The study identifies five aspects, so-called value triggers, which have a particular leverage effect on additional value creation when using new technologies: Value potential, employee skills, access to capital, maturity of the ecosystem and commercial use. On this basis, the "Accenture Digital Dividends Diagnostic" business tool was developed, which assesses the maturity of a technology based on the sub-indicators in each of the five areas on a scale of one to five. The lower the value, the less widespread or developed a technology is in relation to the sub-indicator examined. The "Value Trigger" values are available for various sectors so that companies can make decisions tailored to their respective sector-specific requirements.
