Quality assurance
Visual inspection for connection
An Israeli start-up in the DACH region has released its ready-to-use quality assurance product Inspekto S70, which enables immediate connection and inspection, for resale.
At Vision 2018 in Stuttgart, Inspekto launched its first product for quality assurance - the Inspekto S70. The product now opens up the inspection market to industrial automation providers who previously did not have access to it, as a system integrator was always required to determine the lighting, lenses, software and camera and to carry out the design, assembly and planning.
In contrast, the S70 is able to set itself up, learn independently and adapt autonomously. It can easily be installed in 30 to 45 minutes by your own factory staff without the need for an external system integrator.
"Devices that use AI are easy to implement, customizable and autonomous and will dominate the industrial automation market in the 2020s," says Harel Boren, CEO and co-founder of Inspekto. The S70 is the only stand-alone product for visual quality assurance on the market, which means that visual inspection can be included in the industrial automation family.
According to Grand View Research, the global visual inspection market will reach a value of 16.39 billion US dollars by 2022. But the S70 is affordable compared to traditional solutions and can be set up quickly, allowing manufacturers to install visual inspection for every step of production rather than just at the very end, Inspekto says. As a result, the already huge visual inspection market could grow exponentially in the coming years. as
