Schmersal supplies a further developed generation of position switches from the PS series for even more flexibility, easier handling and less stock-keeping effort.
The PS product family is designed according to the modular principle: The user can order it as a complete switch with actuator or alternatively just the basic switch without actuator. According to the modular principle, the basic switch can be combined with the required actuating element, which can be selected from several possible versions, depending on the application. All elements are interchangeable and can be combined with each other and can therefore be used universally.
The position switches are used across all sectors in all industrial environments and are used to detect and monitor the position of moving parts on machines and systems as well as laterally sliding or rotating protective devices. They are equipped with positive break NC contacts and can be used in safety-related applications, for example for monitoring the position of safety doors up to Performance Level (PL) d. The position switches are designed in protection classes IP66 and IP67. pb
