Quality and process control: Optical inspection system for surfaces
The Kistler Group will be presenting new, modularly adaptable quality inspection and assembly solutions. There will also be customizable combinations of automation and testing solutions, precisely controllable assembly solutions for complex processes and innovations in screwdriving technology.
Kistler presents its new multicapture device in the KVC 821 optical quality inspection system. The camera station captures the entire surface of the test part thanks to eight circular mirrors.
Deformations such as scratches or dents are detected without the parts having to be turned. Parts with high quality requirements are also inspected in a continuous process, which allows cycle times of up to 400 min-1 . In order to make even the smallest defects visible, Kistler generates very high-resolution inspection images with one camera per mirror.
