Security for OEMs

Bachmann electronic is presenting its latest SAI205 safety module at the SPS. The solution supports industrial OEMs by integrating safety without compromising performance.

The module provides accurate measurement of external conditions such as temperature, mechanical stress, pressure and flow. All data can be accessed for transmission to the cloud. This enables full integration into a SCADA system and remote access to all systems. Bachmann's safety solutions are modular and can be fully integrated into the M1 controller system, and with its four inputs for 4-20 mA signals, the SAI205 module can analyze a range of safety-related variables from almost all standard 4-20 mA sensors, making it compatible with most sensors on the market. The four temperature inputs (Pt100) and two strain gauge inputs allow the SAI205 to collect all relevant data for safe machine operation from one module.

"Our all-in-one approach offers customers complete access to all safety-relevant analog inputs with just one module," says Christoph Scherrer, Product Manager at Bachmann. The SAI205 is designed for the manufacturing industry, where critical limit values and low tolerances need to be processed quickly in order to avoid both risks and production downtimes. as
