Illuminated pushbutton in flat design

Turck is expanding its pick-to-light portfolio with the K50-Flat illuminated pushbutton from its opto partner Banner Engineering. Thanks to its low height of 17 millimetres, the robust IP69K pushbutton is ideal for confined installation situations.

Light touches without pressure with fingers or the palm of the hand are sufficient for triggering. It reacts just as well to skin as it does to the touch of a glove. The functions of the K50-Flat are similar to those of the K50-Dom lights. It is used as a touch button, request button or in pick-to-light applications.

The K50-Flat is available in one to three colors and is clearly visible even in bright environments. The pushbutton is designed in accordance with IP67/IP69K and is immune to faulty triggering caused by dirt, water droplets, oil or cleaning agents as well as electrical faults. As there are no moving parts, the illuminated pushbutton is extremely robust and durable, the manufacturer promises. The ergonomic design of the K50-Flat is also intended to protect the user from hand, wrist and arm strain associated with repeated switching operations. as
