Varioflex® bellows suction cups: Short cycle times with high holding force
In the packaging industry, it is important to harmonize automation, safety and efficiency. The use of the FIPA Varioflex® suction cups offers great potential for savings and increased productivity.
Thanks to their design consisting of a flexible sealing lip and stable body, the low-wear Varioflex® bellows suction cups are the ideal solution for the reliable handling of cardboard boxes and other packaging. It is the use of a special polyurethane in two different hardnesses that withstands even abrasive products with rough surfaces for a very long time and ensures a high restoring force.
A packaging manufacturer from Neuss also recently had good experiences. Due to its surface texture, corrugated board places special demands on the dynamics of handling. By converting its packaging system to FIPA Varioflex® bellows suction cups, it is now running stably. The corrugated board is sucked in reliably and achieves short cycle times with high holding force.
With all these features, the suction cups with a diameter of 15 to 75 mm are perfect for fast and effective packaging processes, as well as for handling plastics, dry sheet metal and wood.
