The seventh axis for robots
The seventh axis concept gives robot applications a larger working range. The entire robot moves on a linear axis close to the floor. It makes sense to use a seventh axis, for example, if the robot is to perform tasks at several locations in order to be better utilized. The robot can run parallel to packaging, handling or conveyor lines on the linear axis and carry out manipulations.
With the modular Seventh Axis product family from the Actuator System Line, Rollon offers an automatic shuttle system for moving robots over long distances and with high dynamics. Available in seven different sizes, the system is easy to integrate into the application and can move all types of robots up to a total weight of 2,000 kg. The modular system includes all necessary components and a wide range of accessories and is suitable for wall mounting, floor mounting and ceiling installation.
